properties are CORGI Gas
safety certificated and
inspected for electrical
safety and furniture fire
safety. • Tenancy
Deposits are held by The
Deposit Protection Scheme
Service in accordance with
the Housing Deposit Schemes
of 2007.
GUIDE FOR TENANTS
Finding a
Property:
The first step is to contact
us to provide brief details
about yourself and the type
of property you are looking
to rent. We will then check
to find a suitable property
from our database. We will
keep a record of your
details so that we can
contact you as suitable
properties become available.
Viewings:
We will
arrange viewing at times to
suit you including evenings
and weekends.
Reserving the
Property:
Once you have decided on a
property you will need to
reserve it by paying a
deposit, usually equivalent
to one week’s rent. If the
tenancy is taken up the
deposit will be deducted
from the rent due before you
move in. If the landlord
declines, your deposit will
be refunded. You will loose
your deposit if you decide
not to proceed for any
reason, or if you fail to
provide completed and
accurate information in you
application.
References:
We will require satisfactory
references from your
employer, two passport size
photographs, references from
your current landlord and
proof of your current
address. We will on some
occasions require a
guarantor. We also obtain
credit checks from an
independent referencing
agency.
Rents are
quoted per calendar months (pcm)
and payable monthly in
advance. The tenants are
responsible for council tax,
water rate, gas, electric
and telephone bills. Rents
are payable by standing
order mandate.
